The MSI RTX 5060 Ti Shadow 2X Plus OC is currently priced at $379.99, which is likely a competitive offer compared to its standard market price. Being an in-store only deal at Microcenter, it might be worth the trip if you are in the area and looking to upgrade your GPU.
This graphics card features 8GB of GDDR7 memory and is designed for decent performance in gaming and creative applications. It incorporates MSI's cooling technology, which typically means a quieter operation, and the overclocked variant hints at improved performance over standard models in its segment. Compared to other options in the same price range, the RTX 5060 Ti will deliver favorable performance for budget-conscious gamers, especially for 1080p and light 1440p gaming. However, it is important to evaluate if newer offerings from other brands provide better value or features at similar price points.
Pros
- Competitive pricing relative to most AMD and NVIDIA alternatives
- Good for 1080p gaming at high settings
- Quiet operation due to dual fan cooling
Cons
- Limited to in-store availability, which may limit access
- May not provide the same raw power as higher-tier cards
